Red-Light Runner Causes Harris County Crash
A driver reportedly failed to stop at a light and caused a Texas car accident involving several cars recently. The car accident resulted in several injuries and required the services of the fire department for people trapped in their vehicles. The driver deemed responsible received a citation, but there may be more legal troubles to come.
Authorities believe a pickup truck was heading eastbound late at night when it failed to stop at the light. The truck collided with two northbound vehicles and then struck a Jeep in another lane. First responders reported to the accident scene and had to extricate three people from one vehicle.
Four people suffered injuries and were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. All were reported to be in stable condition. Although the driver has been issued a citation, the injured parties reserve the right to pursue personal injury claims as well.
