Charter Bus Crashes on Texas I-35

After an accident, authorities must take several steps in order to ensure that they gather all the information available. Accumulating evidence after a bus accident can help determine who may have been at fault. Deeming a party or parties responsible in an accident is important, especially if the accident resulted in serious injuries and compensation may be sought.

A serious accident involving a charter bus and a pickup truck recently took place in Texas. It is unclear at this time what may have caused the accident to take place. It was reported that 24 individuals were on the bus at the time of the collision. Unfortunately, injuries were suffered.

Four individuals on the bus were injured in the crash, including the driver and three other adults. The bus driver was initially considered to have life-threatening injuries, but an update stated that the injuries are no longer considered life-threatening. The pickup truck driver was also injured in the accident. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.

A Bus Accident Injury Lawyer can Help Win Financial Compensation

Because the bus accident resulted in injuries, it is important that the correct party is deemed at fault and that the proper charges are filed. Injured parties may also wish to ensure that they are aware of the legal options that they may be able to take advantage of if they wish to seek a civil case in Texas against the party deemed responsible. Such a case could potentially allow for compensation to be rewarded if the parties seeking reparations are successful in their pursuit of damages.
