18-Wheeler Cattle Truck Takes Life in Fort Worth
A portion of Texas Interstate 37 became the scene of a recent tragedy. Three vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident. The truck collision unfortunately resulted in the loss of one life.
According to troopers who responded to the tragic crash, a driver behind the wheel of a cattle truck was traveling north at excessive speeds. Reports indicate that the truck struck a big rig, which then lost control and slammed into an RV. The impact apparently sent the RV reeling off the highway, causing it to flip over. The cattle truck was also said to have turned over with some of its cargo spilling onto the road.
Sadly, a 50-year-old woman from Fort Worth, who was traveling in the RV, died in the crash. Two others were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment of minor injuries. It has been reported that the cattle truck driver will be issued a citation for failing to maintain proper speed. Unfortunately, not all of the cattle survived the incident.
