Multi-Car Wreck Sends Girl to Hospital
In Texas, a recent incident involved several motorists. The car accident occurred on a Saturday night in Corpus Christi. It was approximately 9 p.m. when the crash took place.
Officers say that excessive speed might have been a leading factor in the accident. They have also stated that they do not believe this collision was alcohol-related in any way. Some of the drivers involved in the accident were cited for following other vehicles too closely and for failing to control their speed.
One car struck another from behind, which seems to have then caused a chain reaction collision. A 14-year-old girl who was a passenger in one of the vehicles was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of her injuries. It was reported that no one sustained life-threatening injuries of any sort in the incident.
