Car Accident Caused by Negligence
Texas motorists who do not adhere to traffic and safety regulations place themselves and others at risk. A car accident caused by driver negligence often results in injury. A surviving victim may be met with undue financial stress due to medical bills and other expenses associated with a crash.
An incident occurred on a recent Friday that police say was caused by a driver’s failure to yield a right of way to another motorist. A 25-year-old man was reportedly headed in a northbound direction when he attempted to make a left turn without properly yielding to a southbound vehicle. The southbound vehicle apparently crashed into the side of the man’s sport utility vehicle.
The collision caused a shut down at the intersection that is said to have lasted for at least an hour. The 38-year-old driver of the vehicle that was southbound was transported to an area hospital with injuries. The impact of the crash was quite severe as the driver who appears to have been responsible for the collision had to be extricated from his vehicle by firefighters who responded to the scene.
Medical Bills from Car Wreck Injuries can be VERY High
It is understandable that a surviving victim would want to seek justice when a Texas car accident was caused by another motorist’s failure to obey traffic regulations. Recovery care can be very expensive and, many times, an injured victim is unprepared to meet those expenses. In a successfully litigated case, a court can award compensation that can then be used to help offset some of those costs.
