Six Dead in Texas Car Accident
When a vehicle is traveling at a high rate of speed, the risk of there being serious injuries or fatalities in the event of an accident increases. If an individual was driving over the speed limit, he or she could potentially be considered at fault should a car accident take place. Therefore, the families of any other victims may file claims against that driver or the driver’s estate should that individual also suffer fatal injuries.
The families of multiple victims in Texas may be considering filing claims of their own after a fatal accident. It was reported that a vehicle with six occupants was traveling the roadway when the back tire hit a curb. As a result, the driver lost control of the vehicle, traveled across multiple lanes and crashed into a tree. It was reported that the event took place at approximately 9:30 p.m.
All six individuals suffered fatal injuries in the accident. Three of the occupants ranged in age from 20 to 23, and the other three victims were in their teens. At this time, authorities believe that speed was a factor that contributed to the accident taking place.
