Three Car Wreck Closes Texas Loop 337

Car crashes on the road are already dangerous situations. However, the more vehicles involved in a car wreck, the more likely there will be injuries resulting from the collision. One recent car accident in Texas involving three vehicles seemed to have proven this point when it resulted in two people sustaining injuries.

The collision occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. in early May in front of a residential apartment complex. The rear end collision resulted in one car being wedged between two other vehicles. The driver and the passenger of the middle vehicle required extrication by emergency crews in order to free them from the wreckage. Authorities were required to remove all four doors of the vehicle in order to free the two individuals.

The driver and the passenger were both transported via helicopter to a nearby university medical facility. Reports indicated that both individuals had broken bones, but were listed in stable condition. Authorities decided to airlift the two victims as an extra precaution. The road was closed off to traffic for almost an entire hour in order to allow crews to clear the scene of debris. The road was reopened at approximately 4:30 p.m.

A Texas Car Accident Attorney can Help Win Financial Compensation

Although authorities have not released any determination of who is ultimately at fault in the car accident in Texas, those injured in a car wreck could have the possibility of filing a civil lawsuit. The more experience one has with the litigation process, the more likely one will be able to prevail in a personal injury claim. The judge in the case will base his or her decision on legal arguments by both sides based upon evidence presented at trial.
